News from the Field – April 2021

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Paradigm Foundation, www.paradigmfoundation.org. Our first project together will bless a family in Aquidauana, Mato Grosso do Sul, where our Agent of Hope Sarita Romeiro lives and serves in several impoverished communities.

This home build is for a mother and her 3 children who all participate in an Open Arms neighborhood ministry. A few months ago a very strong windstorm passed through the neighborhood where this family lives. The wind tore off their roof, caused serious structural damage, and destroyed many of their belongings. Praise God that they were visiting a family member at the time and escaped injury themselves, but they are completely without financial resources to rebuild. That is where Open Arms and the Paradigm Foundation come in.

God provides for our needs even when we think it might be impossible. We are thankful for all that God has done and will do so that this family will be able to receive a new home.

Prayer requests:

• Pray that the Lord will raise volunteer teams to complete the work quickly.

• Pray for the family. Our desire is that they would grow in their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus through this experience.

• Pray for our missionary Sarita who is managing logistics locally for the construction and any teams that come to help.
