We want to extend our deepest thanks to our many financial partners whose support of Open Arms Worldwide has played a crucial role in strengthening our mission and expanding our capacity to serve those in crisis.
Because of the generosity of our supporters, we were able to further develop our vital partnership with SOS Global, with whom we collaborate in bringing disaster relief to children and families in desperate need. Most recently, we were able to host a special training event attended by over 50 of our missionaries and volunteers. Hosted by OAW’s Missions School and led by SOS Global, this gathering equipped them with the practical skills, spiritual encouragement, and tools they need to be ready at a moment’s notice to respond to natural and manmade disasters in Jesus’s name.
You might recall that OAW teams were called into action to assist with recovery from the devastating floods that struck Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2024. Thanks to our partnership with SOS Global and the generosity of our supporters, we were able to mobilize quickly—bringing food, clean water, shelter supplies, and the hope of the Gospel to families who had lost everything. Our trained missionaries and volunteers were on the ground providing not just physical aid, but the love and presence of Christ in the midst of crisis.
This is just one more way that you can help us be the “open arms” of Jesus to children and youth every day. Because of people just like you, lives can be touched, hearts comforted, and the name of Jesus glorified in some of the most broken places.
Together, we can make a difference that will echo into eternity.
